Accompanying Persons

Accompanying Person Fee - €220. This includes a ticket to each of the following events.

Please note that an accompanying person may not attend the scientific sessions, present a paper or be a co-author.

Sunday 12th July - Welcome Reception: The official opening ceremony and welcome reception will take place in O’Reilly Hall of UCD. This evening will provide an opportunity for delegates to meet in a relaxed environment and catch up with old friends over drinks, canapés and enjoyable entertainment.

Monday 13th July – Cèile Night: The Cèile Night is a night for everyone, filled with lots of good fun and great atmosphere. There will be a stand up folk supper and drinks to be had while being entertained by fantastic Irish dancing and live music.

Tuesday 14th July - State Reception: A State Reception will be held in the historic State Apartments of Dublin Castle. Situated on an ancient Celtic Site, Dublin Castle was used by the British from the time of Elizabeth 1 until Irish independence. Private buses will be on hand to bring delegates to Dublin Castle and back to UCD.

Thursday 16th July – Gala Dinner The conference dinner will be held in O’Reilly Hall, UCD. This Gala Dinner is for adults only. This is an exciting evening with a sumptuous 3 course meal with fine wine and fantastic uplifting entertainment programme, not to be missed
